The location needs not much introduction. The Whitsunday Islands are a gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. With turquoise blue waters swimming with wildlife underneath the surface and a tropical climate, when you go there you’ll realise you don’t need to travel far from home to find paradise. As part of this offer you’ll enjoy a half day tour which will take you on a scenic cruise through the Whitsundays with up to 2 hours to sit and play on the white sands of Whitehaven beach. Morning tea, stinger suits and a scenic walk are all included in the tour which is the perfect way to get out and about and see your surroundings.
Stays are available from 17 December 2020 to 10 December 2021 subject to availability. Living Reef
As well as being on the edge of the Great Barrier Reef, you’ll have a living reef in the grounds of the resort. It’s a unique coral lagoon which wraps around the central building which is home to over 100 species of marine fish as well as over 80 species of coral and invertebrates like starfish, sea cucumbers and crabs. There’s daily talks by Marine Biologists, scheduled feeding times to go and watch – you can even swim in there if you want.
Activities
There is plenty to entertain you on the island, so you can really make the most of your tropical island getaway. From outdoor swimming pools, scavenger hunts and guided rainforest walks to kayaks, Stand Up Paddleboards, catamarans and beach sports. You’ll find lots to do if you like to keep active on holiday.
Dining
There are three restaurants to choose from, each equally as delicious as the other. If you feel like the best in steak and seafood then you should head to Inkstone Kitchen & Bar. Or there’s Graze which offers buffet-style dining with live cooking stations and a range of international cuisines. Then there’s Infinity which offers a premium Asian-inspired dining experience with expansive views of the Whitsunday Islands surrounding you.
